Those V twin engines are great little engines, ok not the fastest out there but if your touring they’ll sit all day at 80mph if wanted.

They’ll take you anywhere in the world.

I test rode one many years ago, as @Tiglet says not the fastest but a useful everyday/do most things bike......

You could buy a decent one now for say £2-£2.5k keep it for a year tour around Europe (ok not at this moment) and get your money back.

Not the quickest or prettiest bike out there but with its built in panniers, decent fairing for weather protection, a nice comfy seat and a reliable engine they’re good for most things.

apart from services tyres and so forth all I have ever done to the Deauville in 13 years being an every day ride when I was working having now 142000km is change the front fork seals and a new rear disc and is still nice to ride I've had a few honders over the years the cx650 I did a 5000km trip on and in 1970 rode a 350 from northern territoryt to Queensland in the days when you had to carry fuel was around 2500km
honders are pretty bullet proof. thanks for your replies trust u all have a good day
