Much preferred the K75/K100 to the boxer my old K100LT did galactic mileage and was a reliable old machine

 

I understand your enthusiasm.
I've never owned a K series flying brick but that's just because for many years I favoured bikes with pushrod driven valvegear over the now ubiquitous cam chain. I'm over that now though it took me over 30 years of riding till my first cam chain bike.

 

I had pushrods most my early days British and Guzzi but just found the K to be an Ideal platform

 

Yes, same background...Brits, BMWs then Guzzis and even a few Harleys. I found Harley shops seem to use only multiples of 3 in their pricing.i.e.
Everything was either £3( rare) £30,£300,£3000 etc.
