you can get the socket in if it has thin walls, you will have to lift the tank tho', but you probably know that already[IMG]

I was checking out parts today, and, have a quick query. Does the Sprint RS and ST 00 have the same sub frame?
Yeah just looked on World of Triumph (got to love those schematics) look the same to me.

Not mine but I washed her Tiger for her.
Of course I had to make sure it was nice and dry, don't want those brake pads sticking,so I did my duty and took it for a quick spin round the bypass :D

Went and took my rain cover to a mate who has no access to a garage, finished off with a round to the shops.
Mostly trying to break in new pipes in the hopes that I won't have to play with her too much.
She doesn't like idling since a rejet and cocktail shakers were stuck on her, she cuts out when I let go of the throttle in stop-start traffic..

Had a busy day replacing coolant & trying to find out why the fan wont bloody work! Attached should be the usual incomplete Daytona which lurks in my garage waiting to surprise me with its latest trick

Today...hmmm Swore at it yet again! Battery`s are now getting past their best really & the "Beast" wouldn't fire up. So I couldn't do much with the fan. Tried a "jumper wire etc" . I have continuity on he fan wires but not from the fan switch wires. That didn't help me as really the fan should have worked from the "jumper" test! Fuses are ok so it was a smoko...ponder...close the bloody door & get the kettle on!!!!! When im in a better mood lol I may pick up the ohmmeter before the matches to try again!

    OH WHAT JOY eh ...Cosmic!

I went down to Worthing to meet my missus, she had gone down in the car and I joined her later on the bike.

we left at the same time when we left for home, it takes 1hr 15 usually, and i arrived an hour and a half after her! She wanted an explanation as to why I had taken so long so I put this simple equation to her :

    Image1.jpg

    Where D= distance, divided by, S = speed, x = multiplied by, Em/c = Enjoyment of motorcycling squared and T = time

She didn't get it so i resorted to the stock answer " Becuase!"

My ear still hurts where she slapped me

Took the Sprint 955 to the surgery on the other side of town to order a repeat prescription. Could have done it on line, but you can't ride yer bike on line I find. Then as it was a nice mild afternoon I shot over to #1 daughter's on me Bonnie for a cuppa and washed and polished her (the bike). Have to say the Bonnie is still definitely way more fun than the Sprint. And the Sprint is still a bit of a reach for my all round short-arsed frame so I definitely must put some bar risers on the Sprint so just gonna order some second hand on Ebay.
