My parents were just burning to expand my musical skills when I was in school. They put me in music classes when I was about 9. Playing the violin. I hated it. Switched to the trumpet for 6 years. Played up throughy second year of high school. Orchestra, marching band. I was AWFUL. My dad was very talented. Could play any instrument he put in his hand on in about 10 minutes. Two of my sons play guitar. Very talented. Not even any lessons. I took five years of engineering after I was grown and away from home. Got straight "A"s without much fuss. We are all just wired differently. Would be nice to be musical, but what I did was easier to find a job. ...J.D.
police in london were doing spot checks on motorists last night to make sure your journey’s necessary.
What the feck was the driver doing out filming, that could not be considered an essential journy.....
Me miserable, no. Cool video or not driver should not have been on the streets. Can't have different rules mate, we are all advised to stay in unless it is an essential journey (being reminded every couple of hours on the tele)....
Jeez, last time I saw London like that was about 25 years ago at 4.00am!! Fantastic Easy to forget how beautiful the city is when it’s not empty
Sorry your stuck here Rooster, but I can think of many worse places to be. Hardest thing here is not riding. Mrs has been able to get most stuff, but flour/pasta and tinned goods in short supply awaiting manufacturing and supply Best of luck getting back to the cats
I ordered a box of 100 pairs of black rubber gloves last Tuesday, Aurelia brand. Got an email today off the supplier saying their stock had been requisitioned by the NHS. I could either have my money back or a box of blue gloves. Why would the NHS take all the black gloves and leave the blue ones ? May be the black ones are for dealing with the dead ?
