Cheeky little ride down to Worthing back via Newlands Corner where there were at least 200 people, 180 miles, wind was ridiculous

Had to go out on Doris as she felt very neglected! After washing her I called my brother and we headed off to Rykas, it was shut!! Went up the way to where I knew there was a tea van, thankfully open but no food

after a quick brew headed for newlands. Damn everyone and their dog were out walking, cars parked all over the place in the Surrey hills.
Got to newlands and those that didn’t have dogs were there with their bikes, could have been a summers Sunday

this was taken as we were leaving at around 4, we couldn’t get our bikes out before!

Nice photo's. I called in J&S in Delamere on my way home and the cafe was closed. Not to be put off they were selling tea and butties through a window. Must have been 70 or 80 bikes in the car park. Glorious day for a ride :)

Or worse spread it about :skull:
Or take it home to loved ones :skull:
Lovely picture of a father leaning on a counter with his children :)
A counter that everyone else has leant on :skull:

My stash of Jack Daniels has been in since before Christmas :)
I have seven bottles of the stuff ready for my rallies and the GMU :)
I don’t think I’ll be going to any of these events with what’s going on :(
I was watching the news and couldn’t believe the selfish stupidity of people mass gathering in parks/beaches and city centres
I have seen quite a few posts on this forum about self isolating on our bikes :)
I get it if you take a flask and a sarnie then ride by yourself somewhere and pull over :)
But to then ride around looking for other groups of people at the usual meet-ups beggars belief
The gung-ho attitude that it’s not a problem and our British resilience and stiff upper lip will see us through may well be our down fall:confused:
I can see the authorities making the decision for us and putting us into a stronger lockdown simply because people can’t be trusted to do the right thing :(
    Stay safe everyone
