That makes perfect sense, but wasn’t it quite some time before China clamped down? Some time in February?? So they also had it running wild for some time..

I agree that social distancing and taking appropriate precautions will be very beneficial to the outcome, I’m trying to get a real perspective of the likely prognosis(?)

Whilst it’s crucial that awareness is raised and the general public is communicated with and educated to takes proper precautions panic should not be created

It seems to me that the modelling is slanted heavily on the pessimistic side and as long as we all act responsibly deaths will be in the 000’s rather than the 100,000’s - not that that’s much comfort for anyone losing a loved one though!!

Went down to my dads today to take him to the doctors, he’d had a fall and needed dressings changed, went to get some lunch from the supermarket and witnessed a woman putting her basket down and taking a trolley saying” I didn’t realise the shelves were so empty, I had better have a trolley!”
So was she going to take the empty shelves, air or decide she needed everything people were leaving behind?

Guys please congratulate me on the successful purchase this morning of a 6 pack of toilet rolls. Not any old toilet roll, oh no. This is specially for kids with cartoony things printed on it.
In order to nab this luxurious item I had to be waiting for our supermarket Albert Heijn to open at 7am this morning.
There were only 2 packs available and thanks to me sprinting to the right aisle managed to nab one of them.
I came away shouting “Yes!”, “Yes!” to myself as I left the shop as though I’d scored a Goal for England.
Is this really what’s its come to.!!
Anyway now I can :poop::poop::poop::poop: in complete luxury.
