Managed a nice hour and and a half blast on the Thruxton around Battle and Hastings to test out the new Dart screen and a new leather jacket I just bought

The Dart screen seems to have shoved turbulence off my chest on to my head!! But that could just have been because it was a bit blowy today

Anyhow a good excuse for further testing on the commute back on the bike this week as the weather should be pleasantly good until Friday :)

Well the Cardiff trip got cut short due to that feckin' virus (the home owner had to fly back from Madrid last night to avoid a lock down).
Consoled myself yesterday afternoon in the Black Lion at Llandaff - Brains Black and a stonking steak and black pudding pie!

Finally put the battery cover back on the Speedmaster. It took a while though because it was taken off in October last year and I couldn’t remember how it all fitted back together. I had to find a picture of a Speedmaster on the inter web and then do a close up so I could see how to do it. :scream:
Rear tyre was still correct pressure but the front had hardly anything in. Now corrected.
Tidied the garage today and turned all the bikes round so they’re facing forward. Had to do that because there’s a fecking big motorhome in the way of the door and it’s easier to ride straight out.
All bikes and said motorhome ready to roll, when there’s somewhere for them to roll to. Pissed off with this Corona crap.

Today I’ve been doing some essential travel around the peak district :). Was meant to be with my wife, but as you may see from the picture I’ve just been riding around with her jacket and helmet on the pillion seat whilst she caught train home.:( Yesterday on the way up for an overnight stay, she took a spill dismounting the bike, and as it turned out, broke her arm. We've vowed to get practice for good technique and come up with a protocol we can follow to let each other know it's safe to mount, and that unmounting is complete. That sound you can here it the stable door slamming after the horse has bolted.
