Bog Roll

At local grocery, out of hand sanitizer and 90 % alcohol

 

Shopped in Aldi today and didn't buy any bog roll or sanitizer !!
am I abnormal ?

 

I bet no one's stockpiling Izal medicated bog roll!

 

Sooner use news paper than that fecking stuff.

 

My dad insisted on having this when we were kids. None of that "namby-pamby" soft toilet tissue for us!
We had the sheets, not the roll and so always had a ready supply of tracing paper!

 

All the old jokes come tumbling out.....

"Sheets" Christ you need to wipe your ass not blow your nose, They used to have them in the bogs and you had to half empty the dispenser to get a good handful

 

When I was at preschool (6yo) the teacher said we could have one sheet of tracing paper only as it was very expensive.
She couldn't believe it when I came back from the boys room with a hand full of sheets that were just as good as the tracing paper, she made me show her where I got it from as she thought I had robbed the stationery cupboard.
We were given proper soft loo roll from then on

stop trying to understand, just accept that it happens, and will always happen.

then plan accordingly, just like you know that car is not going to see you. You can't change car drivers, but you can anticipate their poor driving.

 

I understand I cannot change their behaviour, but that does not mean that I cannot challenge their mindset and therefore why they do it....

My usual go-to for quotes is wikiquotes, and they don't list that Mark Twain quote on their page.

This is not proof, but it does make it a bit suspect, and wrongly attributed quotes are depressingly common.
