Hi guys, Just back from the bike show. I'm fucking knackered! Spoke to the guys on the Scotland Hinckley Triumph Owners Club stand and joined their Facebook group. Haven't decided about membership yet. Can't decide if it's a bit wanky or not Anyway, here's me signing their flag! And sitting on a nice Bonnie. I'll never buy a new bike though!
That smile says you had a good day. I joined the HTOC. But as most of it is on faecesbook I don't get much out of it, as I DETEST faecesbook. Still, if my subs can do some good somewhere, that's okay.
I joined as a lifetime member, seemed worthwhile and I know a few others in my part of the world, trying to get some ride outs organized.
Definitely wanky. I even asked the guys on the stand if they thought it was Other duties included clapping this really cute greyhound.
That sounds like most cats tbf. I'm known by the other bikers I hang out with for being "the one that claps all the dugs" This one is dotty and she hangs out at Street evolution in inverkeithing most of the time. Today she was on their stand. She was rather rotund, but also very cute.
You're young, Frecklechops. NEVER say never!! Otherwise you're bound to make a liar outta yourself at some point or another. Nice photos! Thanks for sharing them. Looks like fun!
Poor dog looks clemmed! Needs a few Haggis pies by look of it! Ken. PS. If I was 55 years younger, I’d be on the lookout for a Girlfriend like you.
Doh, you did it again, Frecklechops. You must be one very determined young Lady to be able to predict with such certainty! I do hope you’re wrong. . As I’ve said before...I thought I was wrong once, but it was a mistake. PS. Must confess. My Parents bought me my ONLY NEW bike...A C15 in 1960. Newest since then is my 2019 Einspritzer Ditch Pump at a few months old when I got it.
I'll never buy a new bike on finance (I don't spend money I don't have, don't even have a credit card. I save up and if I can't afford it, I don't buy it - yes I'm very certain about it) andthey're definitely not worth spending the full amount on. Better things to be spending £6K on. Nothing wrong with a used bike, and they don't even need run in!
Can’t fault your way of thinking, Frecklechops. I was brought up by parents that wouldn’t have anything (Including their own home) they couldn’t pay for outright, so that’s how I’ve lived life, only I did borrow to buy an house and a workshop. Wifey and I have had a few new cars over the years, but, now retired and having disposable income I would never consider buying a new car or bike, ever. Makes sense to let someone else take the first hit. Our accountant once told us there was no better way to buy a vehicle than paying cash, if you could. Thanking you, Ken
