Having also lowered the rear about 5mm i dropped the front 10mm, so i have 5mm extra over standard, i just do fork clamps up tight based on experience Carl so don't know the setting sorry.

BIKE magazine just ranked the new Street Triple, Speed Triple, and Speed Twin.

All amazing bikes of course. However the Speed Twin won rated 10/10. The bike is absurdly fun and satisfying as a road bike. You are going to love it.

The Ohlins from the Thruxton bolt right on and look fantastic. They are pretty stiff, though. I'm riding with them set on "comfort" settings and they are still plenty sporty. Meerkat crossover of course, stainless end cans and then ride it until the wheels fall off.

Were you sluring your words (JD) when you went to the bike shop and the guy only thought you ordered a Rocket 3, when you’d actually asked for a Speed Twin? .

PS. Went and sat on a 2016 R3 today and it felt monstrous, so tried the new Roadster? for size and that still felt a bit intimidating for me. Was only looking anyway. They had a few littered about the store, but none were the GT model, (Not that I’d want feet forward) said they had orders for 3 of those.
Think the guy said 4 who know each other were buying GTs.
Did think the T120 in Orange looked pretty....

Would love to know what you thought of the swap. I'm debating the same thing.

Worrying about missing the planted ride and intoxicating midrange, but ultimately not wanting something that's always that committed (in spirit or position) and looking for a bike that can be fun without having to be at warp speed.
