I totally agree but car park spaces are way too small unless you drive Kia Picanto or Fiat 500 (the old/new one not the Mini Truckman competitor)

Thanks @littleade unfortunately the paint is damaged and showing the white undercoat. I will have a look a a local paint shop that I have used in the passed to get a view on what can be done.

Funnily enough I know a guy who bought an Aston about four years ago. He had it for several weeks but ended up rejecting it because the paint job was faulty. I guess when you pay megabucks you must have perfection.

Deep breaths and count to ten Mr Duck, it'll all seem a little better then, would a very fine sanding and recoat solve the issue?

Is it me,or has the reporting of Coronavirus gone hysterically out of control?
Either the situation is much more serious than is being reported,or the reports are over blown,in an attempt to scare the shit out of us.
Whichever way you look at it,it’s not exactly intelligent reporting.
Annual global deaths for flu are estimated at around 600,000 which helps to put this outbreak into some kind of perspective.
We have a long way to get even near that number with CV,so what’s all the fuss about???

The last week or so I’ve noticed more headlines starting to verge on the extreme side of panic!! Without mentioning sensible precautions around hygiene (washing hands regularly, blowing your nose in tissues, disposing of tissues sensibly, stop sucking your thumbs, don’t cough over people, etc)
We haven’t got to Ebola panic levels yet, which I have first hand experience of, but it’s not far away!!

    A couple of personal observations......

Fear of the unknown is quite rational provided it is proportionate to the risk - let’s call it ‘appropriate concern’. What makes panic ‘panic’ is the wholly irrational hair on fire/pants on fire headless chicken response that surrenders to fear.

Corvid19 is a novel virus I.e. it is a known unknown the exact characteristics of which we are still learning. We know it is highly infectious but we don’t quite know how dangerous it is or for whom.

The basic problem therefore is being unable to calibrate an ‘appropriate level of concern’. It seems entirely sensible to me to err on the side of caution. I instinctively dislike panic (don’t run, walk, you’ll panic the troops) but I deride the know nothings who ring in saying “it’s only the flu” who are ripe for some natural selection.........

On the bright side it’s dented Greta’s tedious megaphone.

I'd appreciate it if Greta would self isolate for, let's say, 50 years...……..
