I have an ST1100 and coming to the conclusion that it ain't the bike for a septuagenarian. Love the ride, the quiet, the speed, the comfort, but man, pushing it around is getting scary. Just takes too much grunt to move it around when I'm on foot. It also seems to be getting taller every year Soooo, I've been looking for a ride that still has some get up and go, but is light enough to manage easily in the garage. I've been looking at a 2007 Speedmaster and once the weather gets decent up here, I'll check it out in person. For now, I'm trying to gather as much info about them as I can. They're a pretty rare beast around here..never seen one in the flesh, but they sure look purty, and being low and relatively light, might just be the ticket.
Welcome to the forum; Low they certainley are but at 230kg are a bit heavier than most ordinary bonnevilles although compared to the ST is pretty light. I had a 2007 Carb and really liked it as a cruiser it was cool looking if a little underpowered but my 2016 T120 aces it in most departments.
