On last trip out bike started to cut out when at a standstill. Then would not pick up the revs when pulling away. Had to keep the revs above 2K in order to get home.
Have since taken carbs off and cleaned all jets etc, drained tank and also checked that small filter in the fuel line just before the T.
All back together still the same, have now ordered new rubbers for between the carbs and head just in case they leaking air in.
I can get the bike to run if I use a little choke.
Anyone had similar issues or can offer advice.
    Many thanks
    Dave

If it works better with a little bit of choke, that sounds like there is an air leak somewhere. If you can get the engine to tick-over, get some spray WD-40 and carefully spray around all the connections to see if any is drawn in.

If a bit of choke helps, then it is running weak at the bottom end, so a carb/head interface air leak seems likely, as per the above post by Dave, thebiglad (ex Bonneville owner)! Engine revs increasing with the application of WD-40 will confirm this. :) Or not! :(

Fitted the New parts today no change. Back to head sratching. Could it be the coil ?
Just spoke with my local M/C workshop man he collects the bike tonight, with a promise to have it fixed by the weekend.

The carb problems continue. Now looking to replace carbs. Any of you guys know if a set off a 2004 t100 will be a direct fit for my 2007 t100. This is the last resort having now replaced the coil and pickup, the carb to head rubbers, and put the carbs through a sonic cleaner:(:(:(:(

I don't know for sure but I don't think that the carbs were changed between 2004 and 2007, so they should fit.
Trying to recall any carb problems I had with my 2004 T100 - The bike never displayed the exact symptoms you describe but once started to run very rough in the mid range with a consequent loss of power. This turned out to be the rubber diaphragms, which were worn, had lost their shape and elasticity and so were not working properly. Replaced them with new ones and it was like having a new bike.
This may not be your problem but it's all I can think of. It might be worth taking the top off one carb and having a look. If the diaphragm looks a bit wrinkled then it should be changed. Also check that it is seated properly around the top edge of the carb body.

Thanks for your comments guys. Ordered replacement carbs from Mike at TTP, what a great guy ordered them on Tuesday
he then gave them the once over and checked the jets, dispatched them 5pm Wednesday arrived 11am today Thursday fitted by 12noon and after a short test run all seems to be fine. So the smile is now back on my face :):):)
I will at some point strip the old carbs down again and see if I can find the problem. Stiffler I see like me you are a
Shropshire Lad, if you are ever in the Telford area pop in for a cupper.

Have a smoko swore again then just closed the bloody garage doors!!! LOL. Today it decided not to kick the fan in while she was merrily ticking over. So tomorrow it check fuse wiring & thermostat etc lol. I wonder what will be next........
