I had a Gordon Smith GS1 years ago. Played so well, super light low action.
Lesson to self, don’t trade guitars in!!

It's a Schaller roller bridge , I use them on most of my builds .. easy to dial in the sting alignment ...my latest is a 20th anni Cocobolo top with Powertron/ Setzer/ Powertron Plus 5 way and a blend , master vol and tone

That one, and the Japanese Epiphany Riviera. Damn, that thing sounded sweet. And pretty!!
I sold the Epiphone to my best man, needed funds to finance an ill advised wedding. 21 yo me knew everything. 52 yo has learned a few lessons along the way, and I s happy to know fuck all.
He still lives at home with his mum, and has probably still got the guitar. next time I come in to an unexpected lump of cash I'll get in touch and rescue it!
Until then, I'll knuckle down and get some more hours into my fingers on the acoustic.

I'm midway through a restoration of another Epiphone that belonged to the kids dad. I'm restoring it for the obvious connection to their dad, but also because it was once played by a certain Mr G Harrison!
