Nice look. I liked those wheels when I first saw them on the MV Dragster, though personally I couldn't justify swopping them on't Trumpet.
Just fitted new fly screen, I think it really suits the bike, not sure if it’s going to give any functional benefits, but makes a very sexy bike sexier
I have a similar size screen on mine, it does keep a bit of wind off your chest at most speeds, I suppose it depends on how tall you are.
First ride out in a while after being plagued with a bad back... I tried out the Calimoto app today and was well impressed. It has a feature where you set your length and general direction and it plans a route! I tried a 30 mile southerly route on twisties and had a great little ride!
Purists might cringe, but I've 'modified' my Thruxton to suit me. I've flipped the handlebars around to raise them up, fitted a rear rack and the top case and bobbed on some Oxford heated grips and a small Puig flyscreen. I almost forgot the Hagon rear shocks! A previous owner had fitted the Cone engineering cans, fork gaiters and the fender extender. Bring on some decent weather!
Prepared my thruxton for the road today, cleaned it, covered it in acf50 and then taxed it and went for a ride. Bit cold out, but just love this bike..... Getting it ready. Stopped for a picture at local park
