Ladies & Gentlemen A day of sadness and joy Goodbye Edna my trusty Street Twin, what a great bike Hello Stretch my gigantic Scrambler 1200XC Managed to find a Showcase model with all the bits, she is a beast, boy that 1200 engine is a peach With that high pipe you get hot bollock cold bollock
Nice one ! I do like these bad boys, by all accounts this is one of the most satisfying versions of the 1200 engine.
Thank you for your kind words 250 miles on her today, took roads Edna would of had kittens on Pannier handy, centre stand is useful, mirrors ugly, not sure what hand guards do, keyless is a pain in the bum and a gimmick low speed fuelling is lumpy, under 30 mph, may need a booster thingy, lets see how she settles in overall great upgrade, the Land Rover Discovery of the bike world feels like it can do most things, flippin tall though, or maybe I’m a short arse, yeh thats right I’m a short arse
Congratulations on the new bike. Lovely looking bike. The roasting bollock effect puts me off but would love a go on one.
Hole saw to the pipe and cat will help that problem some , while your in there you can coat the inside and under the heat guard with some high temperature ceramic paint and tape.
Nice bike and great colour .... though I do think the colour matched bollockbag being promoted by yorkshireman is a bit OTT!
How very dare you I’m a 29 inch inseam, which sadly is 11 less than my waist . I allegedly have the low seat (not convinced cant find a Triumph part number on it) tip toes not a problem just not fully flat foot like my Street Twin Must be time for a change you’ve had that beemer for more than 6 months Stonking engine on the Scrambler, sits nicely at 80mph, stupid little screen pushes to wind up your helmet ( steady dirty boys)
