    Daily check-up Mrs Sandi T.
I am glad to hear you are getting about more now. And Steve with those fritters if you ever get to the big meet over here every one will have him cooking. They will all be walking around with canes and limps. So I have tried to pair you up with a safer mode of transport so how's this I searched hard for it. And really you do look cool in you racing pictures.
Brotherly Hugs and keep on getting well.

Thanks for daily your check-in @joe mc donald! Steve is a really good cook so that might work out quite well when we try to get across the pond to GMU 2021. Maybe we can even smuggle some fritters into the country. Thank you for your diligent search for a safe vehicle for me. But as I said, I'm not ready to throw in the towel yet! ;) In fact, stay tuned for the new vehicle I just purchased. Being laid up is a dangerous proposition for my pocketbook.:joy::joy:

I did see something here about the flash car. Not the Rocket. Well you deserve it Something more to aid recovery. Yes I know as I can spend money any time of day busy or not. Tracy keeps telling me I got to control my habits better. So tonight we are sending a deserving message to our favourite girl. Got my 675 back yesterday and today after work went for around 80 mile ride and it blew my mind. The boy has set it all up and boy it flies. Just hoping I slowed down enough for the speed camera's as I went through about five in all.
    Brotherly Hugs.

Thanks for bring a smile to my face, Joe! And for making me laugh. :) So glad your 675 is back in action and it sounds like you're having fun putting it through its paces. Hope you didn't get a ticket--and that it ws worth it if you did! ;)

I took a proper excursion in the car this morning with Mr. Sandi manning wheel. We drove up to a favorite restaurant to meet up with our motorcycle riding group. It was great fun to get out of the house and to eat a proper breakfast. And I didn't have to use the wheelchair...progress! The breakfast apple fritters will resume tomorrow. I did break my streak at nine days in a row.;)

The turnout was good and we got to see our friend' new motorcycle that they purchased a couple of weeks ago. It was a perfect day for riding and although I'd like to have been on a bike, I was happy to be out at all! And walking! Well, my current version of "walking". I had eggs, French toast, bacon! Everything is better with bacon. :grinning:

Here we are gabbing and gawking after breakfast before our riding buddies hopped on their bikes to go for a post-breakfast ride. I'm the one with my arm in a sling. ;)

yo look all rite to me :)

Most British women have those scooters and bandages, so you would fit in very well over here.

    haha :p

Is that because British women are in the habit of crashing things, @elevensies? If so, Mr. Sandi and I may change our plans about motorcycle touring through the UK in the future. :scream: ;)

Thanks for checking in on me, @Big Sandy and @joe mc donald! :) I am doing better day by day. The biggest improvement has come in my pelvic bone fracture healing and consequently in my ability to begin walking again. In fact today is the first day I walked rather independently without gripping Mr. Sandi's arm. But he's still nearby when I go "strolling" just in case. A fall right now would be very bad – understatement. Anyway, instead of hanging on to Mr. Sandi's arm I'm being assisted by a new household member, Mr. Cane. Which Mr. Sandi appreciates greatly! :joy::joy:

My elbow appears to be on the mend also. But I won't know for sure what the progress is there until I see my orthopedic surgeon this coming Friday. In the meantime I've gone to physical therapy several times to begin work on regaining range of motion. I'm doing two range of motion exercises 15 reps each five times a day on my own at home. The physical therapist doesn't want to push anything too hard until he gets the go ahead from my ortho doc. So fingers crossed for pretty x-rays Friday. :) I'm highly motivated to get back to 100% so I can get back out on the motorcycles, bicycle, and begin driving my new (standard transmission) Mustang. :grinning: I'll keep ya posted! :kissing_heart:

Great to see you on the mend but please don't push it to hard. You know Mr Steve must worry him self sick when you do go rebel As like you said any little upset in your condition can be major. All the thing you are wishing for will be back it time so don't rush them. Annie even looks a bit worried sitting there. Be Good Be patient and stop worrying.
Lots of Irish Wishes for the Speedy Recovery.

Not sure I like the direction this thread is heading.....Mr. Sandi appreciates Mr. Cane! ;):kissing_heart:
Seriously, hope you can soon dispense with the cane for walking.

V-e-r-y funny, @Kenbro! Actually, at the rate I’m improving each day in terms of walking, I think I will be able to dispense with the cane relatively soon. I’m looking forward to that because using a cane makes me feel like I’m about 110 years old. But it does give me a sense of security—I’m pretty anxious about the idea falling. Not that I ever want to fall down (again!) even when I’m healthy! :scream:

Thanks, @Don the Don. For the most part my thoughts are quite positive with only a few grumbles here and there… mostly when I get impatient. Mr. Sandi laid in a fresh supply of apple fritters this morning. But I think that my side order of bacon last Sunday morning helped me turn the corner in my improvement. ;)

Yes, before I know it I will be back on my bikes. Both motorized and pedal. And driving my new Mustang with the standard transmission, too. I have lots of motivation, that's for sure! And I appreciate the encouragement and positive posts from forum friends like you, Don. :):kissing_heart:
