Right the RX arrival is almost nigh :D
Evotech tail tidy ordered to tame the dangly rear hanger ☑
Next on the list is mirrors. Every review of the Street Triple R/RX seems to slate the standard mirrors. I'm going to ditch them but not sure whether to ride with no mirrors or get a bar end/hindsight style mirror? Are the Triumph bar end mirrors any good? Seems very pricey!

I rode without mirrors on my KTM 690 SMC and never missed them but I'm not sure if the riding position of the RX will allow me to turn my head as much as the position on my SMC?

Any pictures of the mirrors on your Street Triple much appreciated ;)

I got the Triumph bar end mirrors on my Speed, and got a small deal wangled as I ordered them with the bike. I have to say that overall they are brilliant.

There are a quite a bit smaller than the standard mirrors and for me at least took a while to get in the perfect position (I think I've just about achieved it now 2 months into owning the bike (although I did have three weeks of not riding due to a foot injury) as they are quite difficult to adjust on the move (a good thing I think as it keeps them in the right position), meaning a bit of an educated guess is required when stationary and then small tweeks made as and when required to get them just right.

They are however absolutely rock solid and I've never seen any vibration etc from them, always a crystal clear view.

Like I said, not the right bike, but gives you an idea (if you want specific pics I can always try to take some if it helps):

I have to agree they are expensive, almost £200 for the pair, but the quality is second to none!

I do have to admit they do look great. The main reason took the mirrors off my SMC was that they vibrated like a jackhammer! Absolutely pointless. Looking forward to having a decent rear view.
