jaja your excelent pic makes me remember another moment, not so sophisticated but enjoyable too. greetings friends
Here are a couple of pics of two of my helmets. The first is my current shoei and then one of my favorite helmets from a few years ago.....
currently use this one as I scraped my AGV and everyone said I couldn't use it any more. I might get a new visor for the AGV and start using it again.
I’ve never been one for black helmets (ooerr! ) and have tended to buy bright, colourful ones that are easily seen. This is my current one, had Arais for years as I seem to have an Arai shaped head. The one below is my Edwards Laguna Seca rep, signed by the man himself.
Interesting thought, but no if you are referring to the bracket on the top, it is for my drift hd camera....
The most important helmet I ever wore. Result of a 25' vertical cliff jump gone wrong in 1994. Landed face first. Hard to see but the helmet chin bar is split in two places and the right side has delaminated. The wound on my chin is from a piece of the helmet piercing through my cheek, lower gum and into my tongue. Cheek, orbit, zygomatic bones reduced to powder, my right eye is now held up by 4 wires and 2 cm of titanium mesh and I have three ti plates holding everything together. Coded twice and lost a year of memory. When my family got to the hospital they were met by the priest and neurologist. The neurologist was holding my helmet and said I don't know how much he spent on this but it gave him a chance and saved his life. If you have a $10.00 head buy a $10.00 helmet.
Well I guess the moral of the story is: it doesn’t matter how much you spend on your helmet just don’t jump 25ft cliffs! I guess the fact you’re on this forum means you didn’t make a full neurological recovery but glad you lived to join!
