Thanks for the update. He is really a cutie and looks very content to be part of your family, Foxy. Good on you for taking him in. :) Sounds like it was meant to be!

Not allowed to dock boxers tails, or any dog for that matter now, in the UK. I cab't get used to seeing boxers and Jack Russells (my other favourite breed), with long tails.

I'd heard that, Foxy. I've had five boxers only one of which had natural ears since I got all dogs "after the fact". We did have one true rescue boxer that we got through Southern AZ Boxer Rescue after they got him from the dog pound. I've no idea of his background but he did have a (poorly) docked tail. Annie, our girl in the photos, was a show dog and mama dog and we got her when she was 5 years old (now 9). We saw that she retired with us! :) We are lucky and blessed to have her.

Dogs that will be used for certain future working roles are also exempt from the regulation, assuming that it can be demonstrated that the dog is or was genuinely intended to be used for a specifically permitted working role, such as police work or sport, and is one of the following breeds:

    • Any breed of spaniel, or any crossing of two or more spaniel breeds.
    • Any breed of terrier, or any crossing of two or more terrier breeds.
    • Any breed or cross breed widely used for hunting.
    • Any breed or cross breed widely used for pointing.
    • Any breed or cross breed widely used for retrieving.
It is important to note that these breed exemptions only apply to working dogs, and not any other dogs of the above breeds.

She was one of the cutest puppies EVER, Vulpes! And she doesn't look all that evil. ;) She does look like she's taking something into consideration, however......

Catching rats with terriers, farms that produce food can't use poisons so groups of people use their dogs for free,
Warning don't watch if you are sqeamish.

I’m proud of my two furry kids. They eventually figured out the microchip reading feeder I got for them a week ago. Now they can’t steal each other’s food. It was funny watching them as they did their training.

She's 18,5 kilo's Nikki. Not your average lap dog... but not fat though. Vet reckons she's got a very healthy weight for her kind...
