    Hi Folks,

Thought i'd say hello. I am a UK National that's been living in Thailand near on 20 years. Had a chequered history with bikes on and off. Rode a Royal Enfield around Goa India for two months which was great but hazardous, didn't help that the brake was on the left side and the gears on the right. Occasionally when in England I would ride My brothers CB 500 until it got stolen. In Thailand for many years it was extremely cost prohibitive to buy a bike with anything over 200 cc due to very high import tax, so occasionally i would rent bikes and eventually bought a Honda Phantom which is a moped pretending to be a Harley. i spend most of my time on an Island that has no roads, but recently i have been spending more time on the mainland and decided to bite the bullet and buy myself a bike. I settled on a T100 black, partly due the cost (now Thailand make the parts the price is similar to the UK)but mainly for the look. Never been a sport bike guy, either adventure bikes or cruisers has always been My thing. Anyway i take delivery next month and will look forward to customizing it with a bit of advice no doubt from you guys. Cheers

Hi Half ton, Thanks for the welcome.Yes seen quite a few Bonnies or Thruxtons recently. Them and Sr 400's. I was tempted by the Scrambler but the missus likes the T100 so the T100 it is, not that i mind too much.

Hi BV and welcome to the Triumph playground. I had a 2010 T100 for about 4 years and enjoyed it very much.

Let's have some pictures when she arrives would you?

Yeah, was always the plan to do some customization in the future, but living in a Country that is statistacally the 2nd most dangerous in the world for road accidents (only beaten by Libya) i would have liked the ABS and traction control. I'm not a speed freak by any means, but over here there is plenty to contend with such as stray dogs, cows, sudden changes in road surface and quality and plenty of idiots driving the wrong way and without a license. Makes it exciting though.

Don't get many Pitbulls riding bikes over here but get a few other breeds. to be honest it's a lot safer when the dogs drive

I was hoping that was his tail ?

I quite like the Dude dog on the faux Harley - he looks cool and no more having to ask Dad to open the window.
