Speaking of bikes me first love was a big black coopy message bike three years together just like hovis
I just got to like this ..... I had 2 modes of bike wear. in the 70,s a kangol full face.. leather jacket wranglers bike boots with white sea socks turned over the top. or if going to meet a bird........ Denim jacket ray seemed flares platform shoes!
Just on another note, penelope was started for the first time since the rebuild, she sounded great Big lad by the way, a little lumpy but she was cold. Anyway i left her running until the smoke off the exhaust paint had smoked out the shed. Then i noticed petrol running out for of the airbox my first thought was sticking float and then the thought of taking the bloody carbs off . I looked on the web and it mentioned about some models have a prime and also about vacume can cause it on some models.(didnt mention Triumphs) Anyway my plumber came over today to fix the pump. He saw my bike and asked if i could start it. I told him my problem and he said he would have a look. She started first turn and burbled away no problem, shouting over the noise of the very load pipes ( big lad) he told me to turn her off. And.............no fuel out of the airbox??. Maybe it fixed itself or Penelope called international rescue or somthing.but she seems ok.....any thoughts on it??
Pray !!!!! I can't help but wonder if air was in the system somewhere and now it's not. I'd be inclined to run her several times - start/stop, start/stop, start/stop; to see if the misbehaviour has gone for good. Obviously make sure you have enough juice in the tank for this - you don't want re-introduce air back in.
Yes I do Just checked the memory card and I have it all. This will go up on the UTube tonight! Shoulder is actually all better now, took a couple of days for the ligaments/tendons to get over the 'stretch'.

Sipping tea down at Rykers at the mo after a lovely pootle round the lanes, no other bikes here and storm clouds are brewing so gonna make a dash for home
Glad you had good day out Crispey, I am sat in my London office looking at the nice weather, but looking forward to the ride home... Weather app. indicates rain for the rest of the week. I will still ride in, I prefer an hour in the cold and wet on a bike, than on a train with a hundred strangers, wondering how to sneak the next seat without being obliged to let a lady nab it first! ( I always end up standing, I just can't let a lady stand while I sit...!)
Hi JTD, if you want to quote someone, just click the "Reply button" then type your reply. Just got back from a blast around the lanes on Kitten - very "brisk" ride.! That bike is quick !! Dave
