Whats The Most Fun Bike You Have Ever Owned

In all honesty..... All of them .

 

Not owed many but the biggest laugh was on a 2005 Honda 125 last year, had it for a week and rode it like I stole it round the empty country roads around Northamptonshire

 

Easy CCM644 duel sport whether off road or supermoto on road The first owner had spent a fortune getting it tuned, still not the fastest of bikes just point and squirt it would go round any bend or island if you could keep the front wheel on the road.

 

Two stand out for me, GT 250X7, mild porting, bigger carbs, and expansion pipes meant I could keep up with the 350's and 400's and VTR 1000 Firestorm, the easiest bike to learn wheelies on.

 

Gsx1400 - do anything ,go anywhere kind of bike

 

Broke so many number plates doing standing start 'wheelies ' - those fizzys are worth a fortune now

 

if we are talking mental bikes - meet my tls. She would loose power and then come on song sending front wheel skyward - this bike really should of been in an asylum....

 

BSA Starfire... single cylinder, temperamental, been dropped many times before it came to me....

But hooning around the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains as a teenager was fun

 

The early TLS1000 weren't called the widow maker for nothing. I owned one for 3 years when they were first released every ride was an adventure. it would have been my first choice on my list but the CCM644 beat it more chance of surviving every ride out on the CCM.

 

I remember mine pulling a full tt style wheelie during an overtake - a friend saw and thought it was fantastic but reality was I was pooing my pants - it had nothing to do with me. Must of looked a right poser

 

Think possibly my BSA fire bird and my Norton. But I loved all my bikes they always kept me smiling.

 

"FUN" being the operative word here. I would say my Legend. Nice cross between old school and modern brakes, ignition, etc. Light, handles great. No frills backroad bike. It is currently out of service, but I should have it back up and running by spring. ...J.D.

 

Most fun bike - er, difficult as I have had fun on every bike I have had. Probably my TS250 trail bike I had when I lived in Southport in the early 80's. Used to love hooning around in the sand dunes and on the beach.
Most, shall we say, 'quirky' was a Jawa 350 combination, spent more time on two wheels than 3. Toured all over with the then mrs and her daughter.

 

I reckon the most fun bike I've owned was also the best bike I've owned - 1989 Honda NC30. Bloody brilliant thing, I would get my knee down everywhere, that's why I had to sell it!

One of these 'cos it wasn't a sensible bike at all and it taught me how to back into a corner.

 

“Ever owned” would be either the Suzuki RF900r... just addictive acceleration, popping wheelies over crests in the road whilst thinking you were a Dunlop... or a Honda CB250rs which was just a silly backroads scratcher... I had way bigger bikes struggle on the tiny cumbrian lanes where I could throw the rs about with reckless abandon.
But I used to get rides on mates crosser, think it was a honda CR But I’m not sure now... it had an on/off switch for an accelerator, but he had a big field to blat about in and I learned so much on it... I’d love summat like that now!

 

Honestly, my Speed Twin is probably my favorite/funnest bike I’ve ever owned. Handles like a dream, loads of character, and is a major head turner.
