    LED's are in both Bike's ! :)

Got Adventurus , and got into the Americas wiring/running issue and found

    This

    IMG_20191224_101512.jpg

That's the main harness and that's Triumph's Work. There was Blue tape Round that brass joint ! It was all that was holding the broken ends together , when handle bars are moved or hit a bump and wires separated !!
All good now and bike is running better.

Photos of led lights to follow , Christmas is now the priority.

    Cheers all Seasons Greetings.

They actually look good and I do like the idea of them running as white DRL on the front. Do they run red on the rears and then switch into flashing orange, Vulpes?

Can we have the product/supplier name and details, please? Cheers.

Edit :- and while I'm on a roll .... so to speak ..... are the LED headlights able to run with just the halo effect and what make and supplier are those, too, please? Dank u wel.

I only run the indicators on the front @Adie P - the rear light has integrated indicators.

    I got them here.

    The headlights I purchased here.

I have the haloes on all the time - I think @Col_C has fabricated a separate switch though.

    Graag gedaan! :cool::p

Many thanks for the info and links. Looks like the indicators are no longer available from that source. :(

    Thanks again.

No problem. It looks like these can be illuminated red as well?

Fitted the heated grips I bought yesterday, it was quite a faff, took nearly 2 hours I reckon. Also think I got the two sets of screws swapped around, but they seem to hold things in place OK and I can't swap them now as they'll have cut different threads.

When I tested them without riding bike I though they weren't very hot, but it's just that they take a while to heat up. On HI it took about 5 minutes before grips were too hot to hold with bare hands. Switching to LO they cooled to a nice warming cuppa heat. :)

Never ridden with heated grips before so not sure what to expect when I use them properly. Tomorrow seems like an ideal test day, 4°C, sunny, and quiet roads. Unfortunately, it's probably not politic to bugger off on bike on xmas day ;)

Plastic housing for button is mat black rather than the gloss of the other controls, so doesn't match perfectly.

True, and there is minimum separation requirement of 300mm at the front and 240mm at the rear.

Interesting. Does that apply to cars as well ? I saw a car yesterday that had a circular indicator surrounding the front light. Of course it could have been in last nights dream.

Its just separation between the left/right indicators on a bike. 240mm for the rear is approx 9 inches i.e. the width of a legal sized number plate.

So the indicators on my Bonneville are just legal:

Been so busy since I got back from holiday with christmas preparation, kids and grand children and ageing mother in hospital. So today I took some me time and went out for a ride on the tiger. Lovely couple of hours with dry roads when I set out, but quite wet on the way home. Mandatory clean once I got home, bike away and off to the hospital for visiting.

I'm off for a couple of days, so I thought I would start a winter service.
Stripped out the rear wheel, exhaust, trim, tank. That's all today.

Should be fine i think. I just hoovered out the flies the opposite direction that they jumped/flew into Triumph suicide! (at 3.5k btw!)
Also, i have the abba stand for the bike too and for the back pin, i used a bit of metal in the hub (i know you can buy a spigot but im cheap)
A few BIG cable ties around that and the stickout bit and the front is up fine with no worries.
