This really isn't good news for him or the Aprilia team! https://www.motorsport.com/motogp/n...PlW1TQI_GsNRz6kIwRwHZf_Fm2Jx5kTPT134Ojqy8KANs
Might even serve to slow lap times? Back during the years that I was bicycle racing a lot, drug use and riders testing positive and subsequently being suspended, and even racers dying was absolutely rampant. I've no time nor sympathy for it, either. Plus it give sport a bad name. To me, the phrase "performance enhancing drugs" is just another way to say "cheating".
if you think cyclists have stopped taking drugs your living in cloud cuckoo land without doubt the most corrupt sport there is.
Iannone seems quite relaxed (he has that habit!) as though there is an innocent explanation for a marginal infraction. Given his late season injuries and spills it may well be he has been given something to accelerate healing rather than lap times....... https://www.motorsportmagazine.com/...lly-suspended-motogp-after-positive-drug-test Time will tell.....
I found it interesting that he hadn't been 'officially' informed by the FIM, does this mean he only found out when it hit the press, hardly fair if that in the case? The press do like a scandal though, let's hope it is all a big error, but not sure that the FIM would admit it.
Iannone & Zarco both need a swift kick in the bollocks. Best job in the world and one can't be bothered and the other walks out on a factory contract????????????????
