Well, dilli, I do agree with the first part of DD's post. But not the last part. Although I guess I don't really know you all that well. I do feel your pain, dilli. It has always saddened me to trade one of my trusty bikes for a new love. I do feel a bit like I'm betraying its trust. That said, it's never stopped me from doing the deal!
OT. Sandi T, How far are you from Tombstone? Got a mate who I head to the range with and he (English) used to run a Store/Gas Station there. Cheers,Ken.
Now being cynical has this been another Dilli wind up,,,,,,again Well the weathers getting colder and we know what Dilli was talking about doing a few years ago Could the Dilli & Nudger love affair be rekindled and Nudger could be whisked off to warm climates
Ahh, yes, makes sense. That said, it does seem that you GAF about your new Rocket 3! So you do have at least some fecks to give.
OT response back to @Kenbro --sorry for a momentary thread hijack, dilli. Ken, I'm super close to Tombstone! It's only 70 miles if you take Interstate 10 and it's just shy of 90 miles taking the more scenic and twisty route which is how we ride there. How long ago did your mate run the store/gas station? What a small world. If you haven't seen it I started a thread in Rideouts, Trackdays, Touring, and Spotted called Tombstone: A Ride To "the Town Too Tough To Die" back in early November after a group of us did a Sunday ride there. I posted lots of pics so your mate and you might want to look at. I'm sure it will bring back some memories for him. Cheers to you too, Ken! Sandi
I bought the street triple without permission this year and got away with it. Woo feckin hoo Hell yes I will show up with the crossfire on Friday or Saturday whether she likes it or not. Woo feckin hoo!
One more OT response to @Kenbro. Here's a map showing the Tucson to Tombstone route. The ride is glorious!
Hi, dilli. I'm thinking OT is "off topic". I saw that Ken started his question to me about Tombstone with the OT acronym. And since this thread has nothing to do with Tombstone, I guess I just assumed that's what it must stand for. I figured it was some forum acronym that was common? But if you didn't know what it was then I guess it couldn't be common or you'd know about it!
Yes, OT is common for OFF TOPIC. In this case, sort of lame excuse for deviating (Not really an Hijack) from the OPs thread subject. Apologies all round. Thanking you,Ken.
