Sadly a unplanned holiday at the paintshop has put work back and i have to fit in as and when i can and i'm last in the que lol, i'm hoping to get out there Tues if all goes well but things are going very slowly at the moment as plating of nut bolts n bits is well overdue as well, i'm not too bothered at the moment as both these people bend over backwards to help me.

Oh yes, it's really hard to keep a schedule when you're always dependent on other service providers and Christmas is getting closer and closer!

It's really bad when you can't rely on anyone anymore. :p

Trembling hands are a common ageing phenomenon, a camera with image stabilizer might be the best solution in your case.

Managed to get some of the last bits prepped for doing black and striped the paint off the fueltank only to find some bodger had just filled in some huge dents so i had to use the dent puller to sort them out, took some time but all good and ready for priming now. Also to pay for my time on my bits i cut out a rear light 1/4 that was crushed and glassed in a section cut from a scrapper and rebuilt the front 1/4 on a nice little Lotus :)

Yes, we all hope so! Nevertheless, it would have been much more interesting if we could also see what the wheel hub look like from the inside. It's only a single component anyway. :grinning:

Ok, thanks, I had only asked this because of the expected rust in the inner shell and whether it was also treated in some way. :)

I mask off the friction area and media blast them before paint. 20191119_092905.jpg

Final check of a few parts and tried out the newly rebuilt/painted rear shocks as well.
