"Bright" - a 2017 film with Will Smith. 1:25 hrs of wild ride, with loads of action, Orks, Elves and others. A good entertaining film.

Just watched "The pianist". The mind boggles at what little people are able of when given power. Frightening.

This afternoon watched "Dolemite" - Eddie Murphy and true-life story.

A bit slow to move away from "Beverley Hills Cop" but once it got going a really great 'feel good' film. Had me in tears at the end.

    Cold Pursuit.

If you enjoyed Coen Brothers fargo, you'll like this. Now here's the surprise, it stars Liam Neeson and it's not a remake of Taken !!! I was under the impression that's all he did now, but no, he can actually make a decent film !!!
Brutal, gory and very funny, dark humour but funny. Well worth a look. Ignore the IMDb rating and find it on Amazon Prime for free.

Hmmm, you might be right Sandi. She did just talk about a bike she saw recently which from the description I’m pretty sure was a KTM 390 duke, perfect starter bike.

Thanks a ton for the recommendation, MrOrange! Mr. Sandi and I just finished watching "Cold Pursuit" this evening and loved it. I've liked many Coen Brothers movies over the years and this one has now been added to my list of favorites.

We recognized several actors besides the obvious Liam Neeson most notable among them was Emmy Rossum, the female cop, who's in the TV series "Shameless" and Julia Jones, Viking's ex, who was in "Wind River" (2017). If you haven't seen Wind River, I recommend it highly. It was written and directed by Taylor Sheridan who also write the screenplays for "Hell or High Water" and "Sicario", both of which I also highly recommend.

Back to the Coen Brothers--check out two oldies but goodies in "Blood Simple" and "Raising Arizona" and last but not least the super creepy "No Country for Old Men".

That should be enough movies to keep everyone occupied during the rainy season! Love this thread. :grinning:
