Thanks for the photos, Don! I must confess that I've never been out to Old Tucson Studios in all my years living in Tucson. I've ridden or driven right past it 100's of times whether in a car, or a motorcycle, or on a bicycle. It's right in my backyard, so to speak. It's an example of how we sometimes don't take advantage of opportunities or experiences right under our own noses. I'll have to make it a point to get out there this year. There are always some fun events at Old Tucson. A recent one was "Night Fall" which is a series of evenings for Halloween. https://nightfallaz.com

    Hi Don,

Although there are some Dark Sky designated parks near where I live (e.g., Oracle State Park 15 miles up the road from my house), I'm not familiar with that museum but did some poking around online. Is this the place to which you're referring? If so, it's about 100 miles north of Tucson. We ride through Fountain Hills on some of our ride to the north. I'm thinking that it needs to be on our "to do, ride to" list! Here's a photo and a link. I also included a photo of my Speed Triple around Milepost 9 in the Catalina Mountains and a good link to th Catalina Mountains which is truly beloved by us Tucsonans.
