Chris "Teach" McNeil was in town recently and Mr. Sandi and I attended one of his two shows at the local BMW dealership. When "Teach" isn't wearing his stunt rider cape ;) he's a Latin teacher at a private school. I snapped a few pics and thought I'd share them with you all. It was very hard to get good photos because he was going too dang fast!

Chris rode three bikes the day we saw him, all BMW's since he's sponsored by them: a GS310, a GS850, and an S1000RR. Having ridden an S1000RR for a two days at a track camp, I can truly say that it boggles my mind what Chris could do with that motorcycle! :scream:

Chris rode the GS310 first and actually had a crash. He was doing a stoppie towards the crowd and literally went over the top of the handlebars and the bike went ass over tea kettle. It was pretty scary and he looked a bit sore when he got up. The bike was worse off than him, though, as he was able to keep riding but that bike was done for the day. The lead photo in this thread is the GS310. So is this one...

The GS850 was next up in the lineup. This one is a full-on adventure touring type bike with all the bells and whistles--and bags. Evidently Chris and Mrs. Chris do some light touring on this bike. When Chris isn't doing burnouts, wheelies, and stoppies on it, that is! :p

And finally, here's Chris stunt riding on his S1000RR. I wish I'd been able to video this. It was unreal. He would FLY across the parking lot and do his version of a "U-turn" which looks nothing like mine. :joy::joy::joy: Or really anyone else's I've ever seen. In this next photo he's doing a stoppie and gently knocking off this volunteer's sunglasses with his helmet visor. :p

Catching a little air while warming up to come back around and crush that beer can with his front tire. Which he did on his first effort.
    IMG_6389.jpeg

And doesn't every guy who does wheelies know how to do side saddle wheelies too?? ;)

I didn't take this last photo but Chris did this stunt multiple times the day we saw him. Footpegs? Who needs footpads?! :joy: Amazing stuff and he really did make it look cool, easy--and fun too! In my dreams. ;)

Thought I didn't get any video, I found this one on YouTube. It's one of many of Chris that you can find if you Google him. If you ever see that he's doing a show near you, I highly recommend watching his show in person. It made me want to go out and do wheelies! Well, not really. But it did make something like taking both hands off the handlebars for five seconds seem pretty tame. :joy::joy::joy:

I guess Beemers are good for something! ;) :joy::joy::joy:

Thanks for sharing Sandi, these guys make it look very easy, there are lots of these stunt shows at bike shows & rallies in the UK, there are many many pretenders out there, but you ain't lived until you have seen the Purple Helmets stunt show o_O:eek::joy:.
Below is a little taster of what you get when a Brit puts on a stunt show Sandi!

If you Google Purple Helmets Stunt Show there are loads of videos of them, but for now, enjoy! :p

Holy cow! I just now finished watching this video in its entirety. It's truly unbelievable what those guys can do! I can't even do that stuff just on my own two feet. :p Seems that the lot of them must have been gymnasts in a previous life. I do wonder if the guys that are on the ground with the ramps towards the beginning of the video are the "club prospects" or the newbies. :joy: And that's part of the "hazing" process. Thanks for sharing this video, DD! It was great fun to watch in true wonderment. :grinning:

Yeah, Don. I always find it very ironic that there are Taco Bell restaurants in Tucson, Arizona, where we're one hour from the Mexican border and probably have more great Mexican restaurants per capita than nearly any other city in the U.S! :joy::joy::joy:

Wow, Tucson is only #11 on this list of having the most "authentic" non-chain Mexican restaurants in the U.S. Who'd have dreamed two cities in the southern state of Georgia would beat out Tucson??!!:scream:

Really? Taco Bell, commonly referred to as Taco Hell. Sandi really? What do people on the east coast know about tacos? Except they paid $5 each for taco. Buche, lingua, and a host of other meats those east coast snobs have never even heard of, let alone onion and cilantro. Media is warped by hype to sing a sirens song based on their audience.!
