Bad Big Boy

The Big Boy (Train with tender weighs 1.2 million pounds) is making a tour of the western USA to commemorate the 150th aniversery of the completion of the first transcontinental railroad. additional pics attached that were taken sunday 100 miles east of my home. Weather forecast indicated I would have to leave in freezing temperatures so I drove and did not ride the bike.

This is the worlds largest steam locomotive ever built, and several were built in 1941 to haul supplies quickly across the USA for the war effort.
