Hello Bob, I also did the "Ride round the block till I jump out waving my clipboard " test. My mate said take a pair of snippers in your pocket to clip of the L plates as no one ever fails !!!! ! which I did . I have had a few Triumphs only had this Bonnie Se a few weeks. very pleased with it. sure you will love yours.
Hi, My Bonnie should be arriving at around 11am today, the excitement is growing yours looks great, not sure I like the king and queen seat on mine tho, may have to change that
Hi Bob W,re the K 'n Q seat, don't be in a hurry to get rid of that mate - they may look a bit like a smacked arse, but they are comfy, more comfy than the std. Triumph seat. Especially important if you plan to do distances.
Bike arrived today, and I've been having a blast between rain showers it is fantastic It's been a few years since I've been on a bike and I am like a kid with a new toy now I just want to ride!! I am just going to edit a couple of pics then I'll post them on the site
Thanks Biglad, I just need to get some decent kit now, I am riding round 60's style at the moment - ice blue jeans, winkle pickers etc.(well not winkle pickers - that would be going too far) I've got a decent lid though
Very nice bob, shineeeee! Tbh I'm not a k&q kinda guy but I don't think it looks to bad on your bike!
Well I know what you mean Crispey I wasn't too sure myself about it either but it is very comfy. It does take that 60 /70s look away a little bit I must admit, but hey my racing days are over now so I need all the comfort I can get.
The K&Q seats are very comfy iv tried one, but I do like the lines of a standard one. There is a standard seat on ebay at the mo. Hope alls going well with the bonnie and your putting a few miles on. let us Know
