You really have to sort the direction of your photos Jim. Nice looking lid.. Would also go well with the dark.. I found that the photos needed to be in the right direction on the pc and they are ok on the forum..
The pics do my head in!!! They are the right way on my phone but appear the wrong way when I post.... Sold the PC to fund the bike !!
Strange... it works on my iPhone as well... Oh well keep persevering... it makes for interesting viewing.....
I,ve recently bought a Caberg duke flip front, lots quieter than my Bell m1 full face, good internal sun visor and also pinlock , paid £169.99 well happy with it.Worth a look if into flip front without paying shoei and schuberth prices , 5 star rated.
Can't be street legal.... Look mad though and if cheap ill get on for fancy dress parties.... Don't fancy riding the bike with it though
quite like the rossi one, but wouldn't have one. Had a few simpsons in my streetfighter days. Look ace, but not well sealed around the visor and noisey as hell
and its £599.... But look at this Shop... Wicked helmets.. may have to treat myself.... http://www.graf-x.co.uk/index.php/shopping
Nexx XR1R Carbon Speed Blue FREE UK DELIVERY Worldwide Shipping Anybody tried these Nexx helmets. They only have a couple of dealers here in denmark, so its a couple of hours just to try one. Write up in Mcn was very good.... Ive got a Roof R020, ok, but not the best for noise..
Liking this so far, nice internal sun visor, got my Interphone F5 Bluetooth headset installed. This was supposed to be one of the quietest helmets on the market but still find it quite noisy but this could be because I have the nose cone and screen fitted to the front of the Speed Triple
Rich, I found with nose cone and screen the wind noise was worse on mine, I think it depends on your height, you look like 6ft + and hence my have the same issue as me, quieter with them off, and you can't hear the wind with a nice set of arrows on...
Like the F5 very much, use it mostly to just talk bike to bike; range is about 1/4 to 1/2 a mile and you can talk normaly at speeds up to about 70 or 80 mph. Battery life is good for about 10 hours of talking. Have it paired with my Garmin 660 so you can listen to instructions, or music or take phone calls as I have my HTC smart phone paired with the Garmin so you can also dial out. You answer the phone by just speaking. You can go through the menu on the interphone by just pressing the centre button, changing between music, intercom, fm radio or sat nav. The sat nav will interrupt the intercom conversation unless you disable the Bluetooth. Probably my only complaint would be that I can not hear the speakers clearly over 70 mph due to wind noise but Carol says she can still hear me clearly so I think more of the problem is me being 6' 3" and having the nose fairing which causes wind turbulence.
Richard I had noise issues with intercom... Bought inner ear headphones/ Earplugs £170 ish from bike show... Had them 2 years plus now.. Brilliant...can hear everything clearly well above legal road speeds, don't need music on loud, and keeps road and wind noise down... Well worth it..
Just got hold of this.... nice fit though scrapes on my ears when I take it off. Good wide view, with flip down sun visor. Not as quiet as I was expecting, in fact my old Roof is as good... I like that it fits so snug, best fitting I have ever had.
Kradser, my Schuberth isn't as quiet as expected but the one good thing is that it so much more stable at speed, no buffeting or lifting... Your lucky it only scrapes yer ears taking it off.... Mines like packing a suit case trying to get my prince Charles ears in!!
