Recently got back into bikes after 30 years without them, so making up for lost time. After gently becoming reacquainted with powered two-wheeled machinery by means of a ‘93 Ducati 750SS and a’78 BMW 100/7, I have just acquired a ‘99 Daytona T595. Took it for a first ride yesterday (120 miles in the North Pennines and Kielder) and was mightily impressed. What an engine! To counterbalance the abundance of power in the T595, I have also just bought a classic bike, a 1956 BSA Road Rocket with a 1950 all alloy Triumph T100 motor. It’s similar in style to the Rocket Gold Star I had when I was 19, so brings back memories. I think that one will occupy a corner of the living room for the winter months!
Good morning Wheelnut and welcome aboard. You have some really good looking rides there. Ride safe and enjoy, and , welcome back to the fold!
Thank you all for the welcome! The Tribsa will definitely have a tray under the engine! My first job is to fix the oil leak from the front pushrod tube. But first I need to find out some basic info such as valve clearances.
Welcome. I LOVE the Tribsa - seriously nice looking, and want one in my garage... ...I want a garage.
