Aux. Power?

    Hi,
    This may seem like a stupid question.
    But, is it okay to plug an Optimate to Cigar/ USB connector into the charging lead that hangs by the side of the seat, to power Satnav etc?

    Should not be a problem, as long as you disconnect it when the bike is not running so as to prevent draining the battery.
    Optimate actually sell connectors which willl shut off automatically when the charge is less than 12,4V.

    Failing that Truimphworld are currently selling genuine 12v Accessory sockets for around £3.75 (down from £21)
