Hmmmm... good question, Billy. The answer will be meaningless, I'm afraid, because, right now, I don't honestly know. And the reason I'm not sure where they all are is that I know I have, at the moment, bikes "stored" in at least 3 places - I just can't remember how many there are in each of the locations.

That all sounds a bit odd - which is, I suppose, quite fitting for me - but is actually less mysterious than it might appear. I have a storage unit; a number stored in a barn at a farm that was owned by my father in law, and one bike at my sister in law's. In total there's a number somewhere between ...... uhmmmm ........ let's say - 15 and 20? Many, if not most, will be worthless, rusted piles of scrap before they're eventually brought back to a single location, but, heck, it's all part of life's rich tapestry, yeah?

I had an R9T and a GS 1200 triple black, liked the R9T hated the GS.
    Always fancied a R1100s though.

Why did you hate the gs? Looks like it’s the most important bike in the world from the bmw dealers! Like having a range rover for the school run.

Which, the Beemer? Gosh, I think it's about 1988? Ish.

Have I really done 5k? What miles? On the BM? Nah, doubt it. Haven't seen it for quite some time and the storage site is 30 miles away - near to where I lived prior to my current home. 'Home' as in dwelling place ....... as opposed to CARE! :D

Shit! I've literally just remembered .... I also have an R65LS - that butt ugly thing with the odd nose cone fairing. Bit like the Katana, though I'm not sure which came first.

At least I'm sure I don't own a Katana. Well, PRETTY sure .................

Ooo, a Scorpion Sport! Had one of those in the past - great fun on track as you could just keep it pinned all the time and flick it about :)

Currently on my third GS, an 08 with 50K on the clock. Run 'em to about 70K and replace with another low mileage second hand one.

Like the pics of the K75s - missus still says that mine was the most comfortable bike she'd been on the back of.

Suspect that was just because she was younger when she rode on the back of it - but don't tell her I said that!

I’ve got another one in the garage at the moment too, my friends R1200RT.
I’ve been storing it for her while she sorted out her new house in Wales.

It’s going to be leaving this weekend though when I deliver it back to her. A nice ride over to Anglesey for me on Saturday. :)

Me - the latest member to go over to the dark side!
The more I ride it the more I like it despite the low bars - looking at the two on Sunday, I would say the standard R Nine T's bars are just about level with the Thruxton R's - shows how low mine are then :D:D

@steve lovatt : shows how low mine are then ...

Yes Steve, they are even lower than the lowered ones on my Thruxton R were...
    You should go racing :yum

    Me, I have a 1200GS......as well as my T100

Just back from a six country tour of Europe, not something I'd want to undertake on the Bonnie.

It was the same with Ducati. The ‘Monster’
    saved them from going under
