Spent my lunch break giving the bike a bit of love...cleaned and lubed the chain and all adjusted! Cracking way to spend lunch...a bit hungry now though!

    Hello Matt,
Yes it looks like you did a good job, im glad i seen this post so i can ask you about the scissor jack you are using, as i did borrow some paddock stands but didnt like them that much, but your jack looks a good one, would you send me details of where you got it and the model number, i think i might just get one.
Is it quite good and quite safe? do you feel confident it aint gonna fall off?

Sure I’ll find the details...I got it off eBay and I seem to remember that Crispey recommended it in here, I might have made that up!!

I think it feels very secure, I strap the front down for a little more stability but I’ve had no problems scrubbing the bike whilst it’s jacked up!

I think it was this one...

If you’re not too far away you’re welcome to come and have a look at it before buying one!

    I have & that's a good price!
Good vision, low profile, stick out a bit (which doesn't bother me) though can be turned over however that compromises space for your hands.
I got 'em because I thought they look much more stylish than stock.

Hey matt, its funny you mention this, as i was going to post about what i have done as regard cold hands, i sent away on Ebay for the heat pads, i had to wait two weeks as from China, i have fitted them and it was really easy, and for £3.50 they work just as good as my Oxford ones on my Yamaha .
I bought these from this seller, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-12V-Motorcycle-Hot-Heated-Grips-Inserts-Handle-Handlebar-Warmer-Hand/312734423522?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
I also tested them and they are are pulling approx 1.5 Watts so i have added a mini fuse carrier and a 2Amp fuse for protection.
To buy thr genuine triumph heated grips is so expensive and from the reviews ive read they can break very easily if not fitted correctly, also triumph have had alot of problems with them, so it could be a waste of £100.
I am so happy with mine. Let me know if you need info on fitting and connecting ive done a real nice Job.

Sorry, took a while, no I haven't I'm afraid & she's tucked up asleep now, though if you look at this YouTube vid, it's where I got the inspiration...
