    Hi all,

    Just wanted some thoughts...

I have a set of Oxford material panniers from my previous bike and wanted peoples thoughts on if they'd work with the high exhaust on the scrambler?

The panniers just loop under the seat and sit either side so it would mean they sat against the heat shield on the end can...this gets pretty hot...do you think it would be too hot???

If so, any suggestions? I don't really want to have permanent racks on the bike as it would' the that often that I'd use them.

Just trying to decide whether or not it is worth keeping them!

    Thanks all!

I'm looking to add some carrying capacity, just for a day ride. I fancy the idea of a single removable pannier. Can anyone make any suggestions?

Si, single panniers look cool but I think you will still need some kind of pannier rail to keep the bag off the moving bits of the bike. Maybe a seat bag would work for you.

    Steve,

I think the pannier would look cool too! A seat bag or rucksack would do the job, but this bike is all about looks innit? I've seen a pannier frame somewhere, but can't find it now I need it.

Kriega tailback. US10. Great pice of kit, totally waterproof and fixing. Doesn't mark paint or trim because up on the seat(a problem with soft side panniers), can build up set of kriega into large pack, enough for a week away.
I have US5, 2x US10, US20. Don't fit on my current bike, but will keep for next bike they do.

Thanks MrOrange - they look great. And they even use a Scrambler in their promos.
