Not today but last Thursday I took the Tippi to show the guys at the Fosse Riders club night,.....WTF's a Trippi I hear you say, a 50 cc three wheeled moped is what it is and it belongs to the charity that I volunteer for,. It was donated months ago and sat waiting for attention which I have given it, drained the stale fuel, cleaned the carb, bought a new battery, got it MOT'd (class three). Now it has to go to raise funds for the charity ( National Police Aid Charity, on f/book and twitter ).
It was meant to go to one of our projects in Africa but having ridden it and seen how many one-off parts it has we have decided that it wouldn't last long on African tracks so to comply with the donors wishes (who would like it to go abroad) but where the roads are paved.

IMG_0616.JPG New battery in the beemer today. Only one of a long list of tasks to do today, so didn't get out on it. Since I retired, Monday is fettling/chores/admin day where I try to do all the boring stuff and free up the rest of the week for fun. Doesn't always work out that way, but that was the retirement plan.

I enjoy fettling the bike, so it's not all bad.

Ooooh yeah! If that happens you'll get first chance of any parts for the Speedy! Or maybe another Hinckley 900 as a fixer-upper! Good luck with that - hope it works out.

Bought a 2004 CBF600 as a short term runner until I find a new cruiser to replace the Speedmaster:
So spending the dry spells today checking it out for nasties, charging battery and put seat to lowest setting for my little legs.

Took the Harrier out for a blast in the lakes the other day. It is great with the E start fitted I no longer dread pulling in at fuel stations LOL.

Been a good morning bimble of about 130mile...
Ulverston, Kendal, Tebay, Ravenstonedale to Sedbergh (great road), Garsdale, Hawes, Ribblehead Viaduct, (another great road) Ingleton, Kirkby Lonsdale (stopping for a brew at Devils Bridge - a nice 900 Thunderbird (T900TUG) and 800 Tiger were there, back down to Levens and home.
