Forum Trip To Spain 2020 - Cancelled Due To Covid19

I propose a forum trip to Northern Spain next year 2020.
Early September, possibly last few days of August.
Portsmouth to Santander ferry and return or others may prefer alternative routes and we meet up at a pre
determined point.
Routes and places and length of stay to be discussed but i'd like to do the Picos and the Pyrenees. We don't all have to stay for the same length of time.
For those going from Portsmouth to Santander, we will need to book as soon as the fares are released (I'm not sure when that is but I don't think it's far off), otherwise everything gets booked up.

Well I’m Northern Scum as well myself, I’d probably take the Channel Tunnel across to the UK then take the ferry from Portsmouth. Riding down through France is a good 1000km extra which I can’t be arsed to do. (You know I can’t do long trips )

 

I expect Brittany Ferries to publish next years fares soon. When they do, we will have to book straight away as all the best crossings/cabins sell out fast. So it will be a case of book the ferry then sort the route/accommodation later. Talking with Steve @Wessa the other day we said seven days riding in Spain, a day each way sailing plus getting to Portsmouth and back.
Nikki @BonnieCat , are you ok sharing a cabin ? or would you want your own ?

Never done Spain before. I have done France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Ireland and Scotland.
