  1. Hi all. Just a quick message to introduce myself. My name is David Lutton and I live in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland. Having recently retired, I decided to give up over 40 years of riding Japanese and German motorcycles and took the plunge by purchasing a 26 year old Trident Sprint 900 with a genuine 48k on the clock, from a previous owner in Liverpool. I have never owned a Triumph before, so this is an exciting challenge. It's a good runner, recently passed its mot with no advisories, looks quite presentable, but also needs a bit of cosmetic tlc and to address some neglected maintenance items. Looking forward to the experience and to seek advice and ideas from fellow owners. Cheers for now. David.

Welcome to the family. Inmates will ogle that beastie of yours for ages now. Nursey will get a well earned break. Really good condition. You must have looked after it very well. Hard to find these days in that clean nick

  18. Many thanks for your kind comments Joe. I've owned many newer bikes over the years,. Never owned one as old and never owned a Triumph before, so it's a leap of faith, but definitely a 'keeper'. Only got it a few weeks ago, so looking forward to giving it a new lease of life!
