Two days late arriving, but here now, so I got to have my first proper ride on my new (old) toy. Such a laugh, grinning from ear to ear

I discovered that my new addition had a leaking rear shock, so today it got replaced. Don't laugh too hard at my Heath Robinson method of taking load off the suspension

 

Nothing wrong with your bike lift, I have one just the same and use it all the time in both my LT and speed twin. Great piece of kit.

 

The lift is fine, just nowhere to put it under the ST, so one arm of the lift was under about a 2 inch section of frame, wood under the side stand, and two straps from the garage joists to keep it stable

 

Very inventive mate. Mine works fine on both my bikes.

 

Quick morning ride around the Pahutukawa coastline, after meeting for coffee in Clevedon.
Great fish and chips and stand plates hung on the wall, for the grass. Private and still watch the bikes ride in

 

After 16 hours of carefully masking the Brembro emblem I air brushed on a $$$ Kustom Kolours candy apple red translucent paint








Feck that, hit it with 800 grit, followed by 1500 grit to remove some of the fine machine marks, and colored in whith a sharpie permanent red marker. Elasped time 20 minutes with beer brake. Will look good about a year, and then a 5 minute retouch. If you get down on your hands and knees to find flaws, I will swiftly boot you in the arse.

 

Front master cylinder emblem, 2 minutes. Black sharpies for scratches on black components.

Riding in the sunshine and drinking tea.

 

Not had a chance to ride today, family commitments. So I just went into the garage and sat and look at my bikes for a while

 

How come you get sunshine, did you bring your own.
We had a custom show and rally today, only it poured the whole day.
Anyway nice to see someone having a good day out.

 

Feels like I've Sat and looked at mine all year, its been a TERRIBLE year for me and motorcycling...... daren't say what mileage I've done cos I'll get called

 

Sometimes life just takes over mate, doesn't mean the willingness and yearning has gone

 

Had a great ride this morning to Castle Combe circuit for the bike racing, cracking day out and popped along to the paddock to have a brew with team bad Billy and Co,

 

Great ride through the countryside with 2 other guys. 2 Triumphs and 1 Honda.
