Front mudguard

    Does a 2012 1600 Thunderbird need a front mudguard flap/extension to prevent stone damage to the radiator.please

    Can't do any harm! Cheaper than a new radiator, but its beauty is in the eye of the beholder ... you!
    Got one on me Trident ... had it from its 1st service. Got one on the back as well!!! :cool::cool:

    Thanks for crispey my next question of course does it have any effect on the cooling capability of the radiator. I considered putting a similar grill on my BMW RT but some were horrified at the prospect.

    That I would not know, but you would think it shouldn't affect it too much

    Personally I wouldn't want to install anything that would impede the flow of air to a cooling system radiator.

    Hmm, that looks interesting. I might have a serious bill on the car coming up but if not I might well go for one of these.
