The old circuit was pretty good but it’s far better since it was reopened in 2007 after it was reconfigured and a new pit complex was opened a year or so later.
He did mention on here that he'd been told the signal was very poor at the track, if/when you see this though Bill, all the very best for this weekend mate, go kick ass
Managed to speak to Billy at about 08.15 but it was a bad signal Sounds like he managed to get a few dry sessions in yesterday but at times it was very windy. The organisers don’t know if today’s races will go ahead due to heavy rain and very strong winds forecast so there could be plenty of hanging around and no action. Hopefully the weather forecasters have got it wrong.
We have arrived at the circuit. But windy and light rain. They have been out for practice.... update to follow.
Practice and qualifying completed. Heavy rain and wind has halted racing at the moment.... have to wait it out. PS: hobnobs delivered to the paddock and a very nice cup of tea provided by mrs Billy.
That’s probably one of the best race circuits in the UK with probably the most radical weather conditions
