I wonder if someone has experienced the same?
    I have a 2003 Thunderbird 900 that's only covered 14k miles.
The suspension has started to bottom out over fairly small bumps and I took my son out the other day and he complained about how uncomfortable it is!!
Is it possible the shock has had it after 14k miles?
Has anyone got a good tip for a cheap replacement? I was looking at YSS for £280, anyone used one?

    Thank you

I’ve just bought a YSS for my Daytona.
It’s ok for a budget shock but was a bit hard at first until I took a bit of preload off, even though the instructions say that the preload is preset. :p
I’d looked around at others but most were £500+ and I’m sure they’d probably be better, but I couldn’t justify spending so much on such an old bike.
The only other one I considered was the basic Hagon for a similar price, but I went for the YSS because it has a red spring like the OEM Showa.

Gulp, sounds like I need to spend some cash (I don't have).
I may have to sell my Genuine Triumph Leather Panniers to fund this :sob:

Huge thank you for sorting out my new YSS shock.
Awesome bit of kit - perfect fit and great quality.
Looking forward to my ride out through the Fens in Saturday morning.
    Cheers
