    Hello all
I have just a Triumph gearbox in my current ride but have had many Triumphs, Tribsas, BSAs etc in the past. I am hoping for a bit of technical advice on the gearbox from you folks. I'll post the enquiry in the right place. If anyone is stuck in the North London/Islington/Camden/Holloway area and needs help/tools etc, by all means give me a shout. 07896 921115. Slim.

Hi Slim and welcome to the Triumph playground. Sorry I can't help with your question but there are many on here will know loads more than me.

That's a very kind offer (tools etc) you made btw.

Well, with everyone having breakdown cover, the offer of help is not so relevant but I do remember being on way from Yorkshire to Kent once and needing a gear lever for a big Yamaha (yes, Japanese, sorry); mine dropped off on the North Circular somewhere... A kid on an FS1-E took us to his house, his Mum fed us and he parked up his FS1-E and gave me the gear lever - wouldn't take a penny. I've never forgotten that. I got his sister's number as well - she was rather tasty. I dropped in on the way back shall we say...
