Blimey, they re-surfaced it at last, it was absolutely terrible the last time I was on it, cracking road though, used to do the A30 from Salisbury to Shaftesbury then up Zig Zag Hill through Tollard Royal over the A354 then on into Three Cross at Verwood for a mooch round.

Yes it is, I could have went via Dinnet but this is the best option The Scottish Tour came down here on Friday, with @figwold and I getting Lost ;) a few hours later, after stopping in Elgin for tyres.

Agree with Bill, it had got into a shocking state and pretty dodgy riding a bike down it, I could well be heading that way tomorrow so I'll have a look, it's literally 15 minutes up the road from me.

Whew! Good to know. I was a bit worried there for a minute. That's always my first "mod" with every motorcycle and bicycle I've ever bought. :)

Apparently the best method is to use dental floss in a sawing action to separate the adhesive from the reflector then white spirit or similar to take the remaining adhesive from the fork leg.

I use fishing line. But before I start sawing, I used a handheld hair dryer and heat the heck out of the reflector so the adhesive is soft. That seems to make the process a bit easier. Or, being I'm from Arizona, at this time of the year we can just park our bikes outdoors for an hour (or maybe ever 5 minutes) to get the same result. But main thing you need is patience!
