    Hi All

    I have just bought myself a Sprint ST after being bikeless for the last 5 years due to family commitments.

    Needless to say all my no claims has lapsed and I am starting from scratch again.

    I have had a couple of quotes today, the cheapest so far being from Carole Nash at £240

    At the tender age of 49 with no accidents, convictions etc I would have thought I would have been cheaper than that. I was only paying £140 fully comp for my 955i speed triple back in 2010.

    So, can anyone recommend any Insurance companies for me to contact ?

    Many thanks in advance

    Probably going down the comparison website route will be your best bet. Premiums for my Trident started at around £55 and went up to several hundred pounds. Decide what features you want and go from there eg I decided breakdown cover was required 'cos me bike is over the age of cover by other means! :eek:

    And so am I!! :oops::(

    It's all a mystery mate, I have a thruxton it costs me £250 with 1yncb some one half my age , I'm what you would call of a mature disposition!, someone with a street triple half my age pays £100, not much difference postcode wise. Also watch out for auto renewal, don't do it! You will need to hunt around after your first year as they will prob hike it! I'm with Hastings direct at the mo' benetts quoted me £920 for my 2nd year but others find them the cheapest!

    Ended up with Hastings at £130 fully comp. Not bad considering all my no claims has lapsed so I am starting from scratch again.
    Mind you, I am an old git now !

    My brother went to Asda and got a quote which turned out to be from Hasting,and Hastings quote was dearer.

    Might be worth a look

    I am with MCE

    An old bloke round these parts had a trike mobility scooter not so long since, though I do believe that he is, sadly, no longer with us. :( 'Twas a smart looking piece of kit though!! :cool::cool:

    It's my second year with a Sprint ST1050 after an 11 year break, and Hastings where the cheapest with comparable cover to others
