Just a merican here, what the heck is a mot? Lost in translation.

 

MOT is our annual vehicle check, compulsory once the vehicle is three years old.
MOT stands for Ministry of Transport.

 

It’s to check that your vehicle is roadworthy and you haven’t put any fun bits on like loud pipes, small indicators and plates etc.

 

No fun bits etc? Sounds like you need some politictions with large testicles to clean house every few years to make taxpayers free again. Im sure they collected taxes on the fun bits already.

 

You have Hampshire Motorcycles in Shirley, but i used to prefer going to the local Council depot in Hedge End. They have no interest in follow on work so if its an advisory, it stays advisory. If its a fail it fails but you know its right.

I have used Double Take in Northam for many years, very fair on modern and older bikes.

 

can use fixter for MOT...they are doing good.

 

i always go to Powerlinks in Ringwood, nice trip across the forest, MOT and then a blast back to southampton along the A31 , Marc's a nice bloke that runs it too
