Do you have any old school Treats you would like to see again?. I was never and still am not a big sugary sweet eater however just thought about it ...Hmmmm? Texan bars which were guranteed to rip your jaw off and teeth out, sweet Tabaco also known as Spanish gold and looked like dead worms, Fresca and Panda pop, Breaker bars oh and Top Deck shandy bass. :) ;)

Liquorice roots were 'orrible ... but, being born and bred in the Ferrybridge/Pontefract area where it was grown meant it was freely available if you knew where and when to look!! Otherwise it was a penny for two sticks (old pennies - you know, 240 to the £) from any sweet shop locally. Wilkinsons liquorice factory, in Pontefract, sold dirty great big boxes of liquorice allsorts mis-shapes for next to nowt from their factory shop!! :D:D Happy days! :)
Also Black Jacks, McCowans Highland Toffee, gob stoppers, acid drops and don't forget Woolworths pick 'n' mix! :):)

If yer ever in Whitby back streets there is a great old sweetie shop with all the old gear in. If yer get to Whitby go to Pitstop cafe on old station, great food and bikers cafe. Keep a lookout fer Goths..
